In an effort to protect my work and the community it serves, I'm requiring my stories' audience to subscribe to a minimal free tier.

As an indie author offering my work online, this will help me prevent my content from being stolen -- or at least help me track down where it comes from if it happens.

It also means that I should effectively be able to keep bots and trolls out of the community by limiting the areas of social interaction, like the forums and groups!
